As part of 2021 JCI Sheffield leadership learning program, we are teaming up with JCI Stockholm in Sweden to run the newly launched JCI Discover course.
Every exciting journey begins with discovering a new path. In this online interactive session, you will embark on an engaging journey that goes down the path that answers why JCI exists. You will learn discover the core values and framework that drives the JCI Mission, exploring the skills you can develop through JCI and how you can be an active citizen creating sustainable impact in a changing world.
Places for this course are limited and are being prioritized for JCI UK and JCI Sweden members.
Aims
* Discover why JCI exists and explore the Mission of the organisation.
* Understand what makes a leader and the leadership skills you can develop through JCI.
* Discover how to be a leader and create sustainable impact in today’s world.
HOW TO ACCESS THE WORKSHOP
Once registered on eventbrite you will need to log in to your eventbrite account to access the zoom link for this session.
Please note this session will run 6pm-9pm UTC (for those in the UK) and 7pm-10pm CET (for those in Sweden)

* This workshop is available to JCI UK and JCI Sweden members as part of their membership. (JCI members will also be to register on www.jci.cc nearer the time in order to undertake the knowledge test and ‘graduate’ after the course).

ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Jenni Ahlstedt joined JCI in 2008 in Finland. She has served as a Local President in 2011, JCI Finland International Affairs Officer 2012 and National Information Officer 2013. For JCI Sweden she has served as National President in 2015. Internationally Jenni has served as JCI Sponsorship Committee Member for Europe 2016 & 2017 and as JCI European Academy Director in 2018 & 2019. This energetic member served in the JCI Board of Directors as JCI Vice President for Europe in 2020.
Mark Smith joined JCI in 2012 in Sheffield. He has a wealth of experience within JCI and has served in many roles including as Local President 2015, National President for JCI UK in 2019 and most recently as the 2020 Vice President assigned to Europe, along with fellow trainer Jenni Ahlstedt. Mark has worked in the charity sector for many years in management and leadership roles. He set up his own training, coaching and consultancy business just over 3 years ago, Make Your Mark UK, which was a finalist as best business start up of the year in 2018 and 2019.
