Join JCI Sheffield for a Choc-Full fun day of ‘Chocolate Chatters’ as we visit Cadbury World in Birmingham!
Cadbury World is situated in the historic Bournville village – site of the original ‘Factory in a Garden’. In 1879, Richard and George Cadbury decided to move their expanding business from Birmingham’s City Centre into the countryside four and a half miles away.
Tickets will be be pre-booked for entry costing £17.10 (which you need to please pay the organiser). Those attending the visit can either make their own arrangements using the train to Bournville station or join a couple of members who will be driving and then sharing petrol costs.
The Cadbury Cafe on site is open 11:30am – 4:30pm during weekends. Food/drinks as your cost (and is not included in the entry fee).
On average, visitors spend around 3-4 hours visiting Cadbury World. Visits can be longer at busier times during weekends and school holidays. The last admission is always an hour and a half before closing time e.g. if the last entry shown below is at 4pm, the attraction will close at 5.30pm.

Inspired by Mind’s RED (Run Every Day) January campaign, and the 2019 JCI UK Step Up January campaign, JCI Sheffield is encouraging members to move more in January!
To help with ‘Good Health and Wellbeing’ (Sustainable Development Goal 3), we’re kickstarting the new year with an active challenge: exercise for at least 30 minutes every day in January.
You can choose how to challenge yourself. For some members, this will be a great incentive to train for a marathon. For others, it might mean walking to work instead of driving, or taking the stairs instead of the lift. Like RED January, this campaign can give you a goal and focus in a characteristically tough month, empowering you to start the year as you mean to go on.
Every day you take part, share a selfie on our social media channels with #EveryMinuteCounts – we are on twitter, facebook, instagram and LinkedIn!
